Beer, Music and a Perfect Summer Saturday
Hosted in part by Trading Post Brewing, one of the best and longest running craft beer and music festivals in the Lower Mainland is Brewhalla Fort Langley.
Originally called the Fort Langley Craft Beer Festival years ago, the event takes place annually in either May or June. In 2026 the event celebrates its 9th year on June 13th. It’s definitely a beer festival, but with a big focus on music too.
Breweries & Brewhalla
There is one thing worth knowing about British Columbia before you plan your summer: the province has some serious game in the craft brewery world. Whether you are a lifelong local or just passing through, getting to taste and experience what BC’s brewers are putting out is genuinely one of the better ways to spend an afternoon here. And on a Saturday in May or June each year, one event brings a big slice of that scene together in one of the nicest towns in the entire metro area.
Brewhalla Fort Langley is a must for anyone who loves craft beer, live music and food trucks. Set in Fort Langley Park, the festival pulls together two dozen or so breweries, cideries, wineries, distilleries and non-alcoholic beverage providers alongside live entertainment, food trucks, lawn games and plenty of space to just settle in and enjoy the afternoon. The event has been running since 2017 and draws up to 3,000 people each year.
For more information, visit the official Brewhalla Festival website.
What to Expect at Brewhalla
General admission gets you entry to the festival, a commemorative 4 oz festival glass, three drink tokens, and access to everything on the grounds which includes live entertainment, food trucks and the full lineup of vendors. Additional sample tokens run about $2.50 each, or 11 for $25. Groups can take advantage of a six-pack deal on admission tickets (i.e., buy five, get one free), which works out well if you are going with a crew.
The format is relaxed and social. You move between vendors at your own pace, sample what catches your eye, and the 4 oz pours keep things measured enough that you can actually work through the lineup. There is a chill area with seating if you want to plant yourself near the stage, and a games area if you prefer something a little more active between rounds.
Tip: Bring a lawn chair, blanket or umbrella to set up near the stage — it makes for a relaxing, chill afternoon while listening to the music.
The Music at Brewhalla Fort Langley
The music at the event is part of the experience, not just background noise. The 2026 lineup includes DJ Flipout and Drew Storey and The Coco Project.
The 2026 vendor list is strong. Confirmed participants include some of BC’s most well-known names alongside a few worth discovering for the first time. Examples include:
Trading Post Brewing · Camp Beer Co. · Five Roads Brewing Co. · Fraser Valley Cider Company · Smugglers Trail · Steel & Oak · La Cerveceria · Backcountry Brewing · Changing Colours · Mountainview Brewing Co. · Red Truck Beer Company · Cinco Drink Co. · Bali Water
Confirmed food trucks for 2026 include:
The Mad Greek · Japadog · Mr. Arancino · Dos Amigos · Between 2 Buns
Food is purchased separately from your drink tokens.
Other Attractions in Fort Langley
The festival ends at 6:00 pm, but if you are making a day of it, Fort Langley rewards that decision. About a 15-minute walk from the festival grounds, Fort Langley National Historic Site is one of the most interesting heritage spots in the Lower Mainland. The attraction is a reconstruction of the original 1827 Hudson’s Bay Company fort, with costumed interpreters and hands-on history that is genuinely engaging.
The village itself has a great main strip for wandering, eating and picking up something local. It is the kind of place that makes you wonder why you don’t go out there more often.
Also Coming Up In Fort Langley
The Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival runs from July 23 to 26 in 2026. It features both free and ticketed events including the Cool Blues Show. If the music at Brewhalla gets you in the mood for more, the Jazz Festival is a natural follow-up.
