Barnside Harvest Festival Runs Three days, three Stages and a full Harvest Weekend in Ladner
Barnside is large enough to run three stages at once, but the grounds are open and easy to move through. The Main Stage carries the biggest names. The Dueck Cadillac Stage adds another full programme of touring and emerging artists. The Delta Heritage Stage puts regional talent beside exhibits and activities connected to the area’s agricultural and cultural history.
General admission also covers the Artisan Village, Family Zone and the broader festival site. Food, drinks and other purchases are separate. The site-wide liquor licence means festival beverages can be enjoyed across the grounds rather than inside a single enclosed beer garden.

Food, drinks and the Sunday beer corner
Food trucks cover snacks, full meals and desserts across the weekend. Barnside Brewing’s farm-fresh beer is joined by local wine, cider and non-alcoholic choices, all available within the festival’s site-wide licensed area.
Sunday adds the BC Craft Beer Corner, with breweries from around the province pouring alongside the day’s music and food programme. The announced list includes Backcountry Brewing, Camp Beer Co., Steel & Oak, Trading Post, Strange Fellows, Locality, Main Street Brewing and more.
Artisan Village, Family Zone and Delta history
The Artisan Village brings regional makers and crafters into the centre of the festival grounds. It gives visitors somewhere to browse between sets and keeps the day from revolving only around stage times.
The Family Zone includes games, a hay maze, face painters and family entertainment. Children must stay with an adult ticket-holder. The Delta Stage and Douglas J. Husband Discovery Zone connect the weekend to the region’s farming legacy through interactive exhibits and local performances.
Paterson Park and Ladner
Paterson Park sits in Ladner, a Fraser River community between Richmond and Tsawwassen. Ladner began as a fishing village and remains closely tied to Delta’s agricultural landscape, which makes the harvest theme feel connected to the place rather than added for decoration. Tickets
Current summer pricing lists three-day general admission at $189 plus service charges. Friday general admission is $89, while Saturday and Sunday are $99 each. Single-day VIP passes are $189, and the $369 three-day VIP pass is currently sold out.
VIP includes festival admission, a raised platform and side-stage viewing beside the Main Stage, access to a private covered lounge and bar, non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, appetizers and desserts. Children 10 and under can receive free general-admission tickets but still need to be added during checkout and must attend with an adult ticket-holder. Free kids’ tickets do not include VIP access.
Parking tip: On-site parking passes cost $20 plus service charges and space is limited. Reserve one with your festival tickets rather than relying on availability at the gate.
Getting there
Driving is the most direct option from Vancouver, with Paterson Park about 35 minutes away via Highway 99 when traffic is moving normally. The festival also promotes shuttle service and bike valet. Check the current transportation and parking pages before leaving because festival traffic and road conditions can change the trip time.
Good to know
What to bring: A blanket or low chair, sun protection, a refillable water bottle and a light layer for the evening. September temperatures can drop quickly after sunset.
All ages: The festival is family-friendly. Children 10 and under are free in general admission areas with a ticket and an accompanying adult.
Weather: The programme is outdoors. Check the official FAQ and forecast before leaving, and pack a light rain layer when conditions are uncertain.
Schedule: Save the official schedule on your phone and check it again before arrival. Three stages run at the same time, so a basic plan prevents avoidable conflicts.
