Set right on the waterfront in Lower Lonsdale, it’s hard to beat the setting of Brewhalla North Vancouver. Not far away you can see open views of downtown Vancouver and sunset light over the inlet. With the live music carrying across the plaza, Brewhalla feels as much like a spring music festival as it does a craft beverage event.
Brewhalla Festival at The Shipyards
Brewhalla North Vancouver brings together breweries, cideries, distilleries and other beverage makers from across
British Columbia to the Lower Mainland, so there’s usually something for every taste — whether you prefer
craft beer, cider, spirits, wine, or non-alcoholic options.
What You Get at the Entrance
As you enter the festival grounds, general admission includes a commemorative 4-ounce tasting glass
and three drink tokens.
If you want to keep sampling, extra tokens are available for $2.50 each, or you can save a little by buying 11 tokens for $25. That works well whether you’re there to try as many breweries as possible or simply settle in, enjoy the live music, and sample a few drinks over the course of the evening.
Brewhalla North Vancouver Music
Live music is a big component of the Brewhalla series of events. There are usually a few bands to enjoy throughout the evening. The 2026 Brewhalla North Vancouver event features performances by Chase The Bear and The Coco Project. DJ Flipout plays music too.
Food Trucks at the Festival
Another highlight of the Brewhalla experience is the food area. When you’re ready for something more substantial, there are plenty of options to keep you going before heading back for more samples or another set of live music.
For the 2026 North Vancouver festival, the food truck lineup includes Between 2 Buns, Japadog, Dos Amigos, The Mad Greek, and Beavertails. With burgers, street food favourites, and sweet treats all on site, lunch and dinner are well covered.

A Spot for Every Kind of Person
One of the nice things about Brewhalla is that it doesn’t feel one-dimensional. If you want to dance near the stage, you can. If you want to sit back with a drink and take in the skyline, there’s room for that too. You can also play ping pong and other games, or sit by one of the gas fire tables.
Usually at the event there’s a relaxed seating area, a lively games zone, and plenty of space to hang out with friends while watching the crowd, the music, and everything going on. The city lights start to come alive as the evening gets later. That balance is part of what makes the festival work so well, as there’s genuinely a place for all kinds of tastes.
