Go Bragg.

WHITEY is Canadian guitarist, singer and songwriter Whitey Somers. His music is rooted in blues, roots music and groove-driven songwriting. In 2026 he received a Silver award for International Male Songwriter of the Year from the International Singer-Songwriters Association.

Wooden Horsemen is a Vancouver band whose sound combines blues-rock, roots music and groove-focused arrangements. The group has performed at events including the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Rifflandia and JUNOfest.

The Stinking Rose Garlic Festival

In 2026 the Stinking Rose Garlic Festival happens on the Saturday and Sunday of September 19th and 20th. Saturday’s festival hours are 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, followed by the separately ticketed SKAtoberfest concert. On Sunday, the festival runs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Garlic is the main theme during the daytime festival. More than 20 vendors sell garlic-related food and other products. The event also includes food trucks, artisan vendors, family-friendly activities and daytime music. At the farm there are farm animals to see and a children’s play village too.

Sunday starts with a garlic pancake breakfast. Other activities listed for the weekend include a kids corn maze, train rides and bouncy castles. The garlic festival is a fun, family-friendly event.

In 2026, admission to SKAtoberfest costs about $32 for adults and $26 for seniors and children. A family pass for two adults and two children costs about $85. A SKAtoberfest ticket also acts as a weekend pass to the Stinking Rose Garlic Festival (so you don’t need to buy tickets to that separately).

For the garlic festival without the Saturday-night concert, admission is $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and children. A family-of-four pass costs $42.
